The BCC will be closed the week of October 14 for MBA fall break. You can go ahead and book appointments starting the week of Oct. 21 using the Fall 2024 (Mod 2) schedule.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND POLICY INFORMATION
Scheduling policy: You may book up to 14 days ahead and up to 1 hour before the start of an appointment. For the fall, we typically limit students to 2 total hours of appointments each week. If you need to make changes to or cancel your appointment, you must do so at least 12 hours before the appointment start time. After 2 no-shows, your account will be deactivated for 3 weeks.
Waitlist: If you're unable to get an appointment when you want, be sure to add yourself to the waiting list so that you're notified as soon as something opens up.
In-person v. virtual appointments: We offer both in-person and virtual appointments. Virtual appointments will have "Virtual Only" after the Consultant's name. If you're looking for just virtual appointments, click the dropdown "Show All Meeting Types" in the Display Options box at the top of the page and choose "Virtual." In-person appointments will be held in McColl Study Rooms located in the 1101 hallway. Virtual appointments will be held in the Consultant's Zoom room; your confirmation and reminder emails will contain the Zoom link, or you can log back into the schedule and open your appointment to launch the Zoom session.
Case interviews: Not all Consultants conduct case interviews. If you're booking any type of case or technical interview, you must first filter the schedule by the type of appointment you'd like to make (in the Display Options box at the top of the page). Consulting Casers also have an asterisk (*) after their names. Please schedule an hour-long appointment for cases, if at all possible. An hour allows us to both give and fully debrief the case. If you only book 30-minutes, we will not have time to give you a full case. You can view all of our Consultant bios here.
Attaching files: You're welcome to attach any documents you'd like to review during your appointment. (Bringing a hard copy is great, too!) However, please note that we typically do not review materials ahead of time.

Welcome to the Business Communication Center! If you've never met with us before, click on the "register" link to the left to get started.
A few important policy things to note:
- We're available to meet with all Kenan-Flagler degree students (including Assured Admission students) or students CURRENTLY taking courses in the business school (not including Busi 101) or participating in the Investment Banking Boot Camp (IBBC). Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to serve non-business students. Misrepresenting yourself when registering for an account is a violation of the Honor Code.
- We offer both in-person and virtual appointments. If you book an in-person appointment but need to meet virtually, please email us and we'll try to accommodate your request.
- We typically allow students to book 1-3 hours of time each week, depending on demand and time of year. The announcement at the top of the schedule will detail the current policy.
- You can reserve appointments up to 14 days in advance and up to 60-minutes before the appointment start time.
- You should receive an appointment reminder email 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- You must make any appointment changes or cancellations at least 12 hours prior to your appointment.
- After two missed appointments, you will be suspended from using the BCC for 3 weeks. Any appointments you already had scheduled during those 3 weeks will be canceled.
- If you're more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, the consultant may take any walk-ins and you will have forfeited your appointment time.
We look forward to working with you! If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to email us at bizcommcenter@kenan-flagler.unc.edu
